|  | We were just supposed to watch for about an hour or two to check who among those hundreds of pairs were chosen to be the 15 finalists for this pageant. Surprisingly, the OSA Director saw me and invited us for dinner before the pageant proper, thus we ended up staying longer.
And because the winner was still not announced yet and these oldies[especially the one in uniform] were longing to feel their blankets and bedsheets, we weren't able to know who the runner-ups were and the big winners. But the following day, at least we were able to find out that our bet[especially the Ms. SPC] was the one that ended up winning. She's the one in black gown in the pic, btw...:)
Do pardon me if most of the pics ended up blurry. Aside from the fact that the contestants had to walk fast, the batteries in my cam were beginning to die on me, thus the blurry shot. drat! [sensya na pow!! di naman po talaga high-tech aking cam!hehehehe!] |
| | Around February this year, I was invited by the Student Council and OSA [charing! feeling close!!hahahahahaha!] to be one of the preliminary judges on this year's Mr. and Ms. SPC. It was basically a 2-night affair, but the first night was with me in uniform, so I ended up not taking any pics to remember that night.
This judging stint also had an amusing story as well. Basically, it was only just me who would judge together with the school's Admissions Officer. Erika, who was with me to supposedly watch the prelim for an hour or two, ended up being the third judge since the supposedly third judge backed out at the prelim day itself.
Both of us reckoned that 'twas a good experience judging those kids. At the same time, we were checking out outfits on the side, more or less trying/unleashing our fashion prowess. Charing!
