Gladys has been raving about this cafe for weeks and we just didn't have the time[and even the resources, tsk] to check it out together. So as not to waste our dressing up efforts one wednesday, we both reckon to go there. True enough, I wasn't disappointed with the place. it's private, cozy and absolutely comfortable [except for the bossa nova music, which i am so sick of already!]. the food is okay...absolutely healthy and filling. A must visit for health buffs[ so i maybe bringing my parents here so that they can check it out themselves]. They don't serve beef or pork, they serve only organic rice and NO MSG on their food!! yey! gladys told me that the place was run by an NGO and according to their menu, their rice and coffee came from their partners--sort of like helping them sell their products.
the price is also not bad. and since it is a cafe, they are also a hotspot! if i just have a laptop, it is a very perfect place to study or have a small meeting or just plain personal browsing.

The moment we were able to acquire the much sought after Canon A460 [it may be bulky and all that, but Gladys and I simply love the features. right, Glads?:P], one technological tragedy led to another like dominos hopelessly falling to the ground. For practically the entire day, electricity was fluctuating on us for almost like every hour [we jokingly thought that we weren't able to pay the electric bill thus, the problem] we ended up not accomplishing a major task since we so much rely on the computer. Apart from that, there was an unannounced water interruption in the entire metro once again, so just imagine how "stone age" we were then. To top it all, almost all ATM machines went offline on us, we were sooo broke I couldn't even eat a single order of squid roll [my craving at that time] and if worse comes to worst, we couldn't even afford our fare home!! We were so hungry that the only resto we can afford eating then was at Pancake House. Talk about irony, someone told me...tsk
As what everyone says, " when all else fails, laugh." In our case, when all else fails, EAT! :D
And thank God it was just a one day ordeal. I wonder what will happen to us if we go archaic on 21st century...@_@ |
| | posted on father's day, ironically[ we didn't take pictures then...sayang naman!] because it was just now that my brother told me that it was uploaded already and where it can be found in our PC...twas just a simple celeb. papa treated us a dinner at banok's. before that, we watched spiderman 3 at NCCC mall [first timer ang lolah niyo!!after 48 years!!!]. Nice sunday out indeed!:P |
